Does the power and water need to be on?
Yes. The team needs running water and working lights. If the utilities are being switched over, book the clean for a day when both are on.
Will this get my deposit back?
We clean to the checklist above, which covers what landlords typically inspect. Deposit decisions depend on your lease and on damage, which cleaning cannot fix, so we cannot promise the outcome.
Can you clean while movers are still working?
It is far better after they finish. Cleaning around boxes and dollies means areas get missed and dirt gets tracked back in.
